Historically, the dining room is a place where people gather — where shared meals give rise to exchanges and unspoken tensions. These settings were once entrusted to the domestic help, who were never invited to the table, yet played an intimate and integral role in the family's dynamics and its guests. While the food is served and 'the tea is spilled,' these quiet, uninvited bystanders observe and take everything in. In this presentation, it is the uninvited who take center stage, their voices finally heard in the very room that once relied on their silence.
